• Lactobacillus rhamnosus (especially GG strain)

• Lactobacillus plantarum

• Bifidobacterium longum
Known for calming sensitive skin and reducing redness. It supports the skin barrier by lowering inflammation signals coming from the gut.

• Bifidobacterium breve
Helps improve skin hydration and may reduce transepidermal water loss, supporting a stronger, more resilient skin barrier.

• Lactobacillus casei
Supports immune balance and may help reduce acne-related inflammation by improving gut health and reducing systemic triggers. 

Why these matter for skin structure
A balanced gut microbiome helps:
